We are proud to have successfully hosted our brand-new flagship platform, the 𝐈𝐀𝐀𝐂𝐀 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬! 

For our inaugural episode, we were deeply honoured to host 𝐃𝐫 𝐆𝐢𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐚, President of the Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) and Vice President of IAACA. 

Reflecting on his six-year tenure at ANAC, Dr Busia shared powerful insights on anti-corruption leadership: 

𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐯𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: "When every step of a procedure is digitally traceable, when databases are interoperable, and when the documents are fully accessible and updated in real time, the space for opportunistic behaviour narrows dramatically. Thus, 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲." 

𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧-𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐈 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲: "The ANAC model demonstrates that 𝐀𝐈 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐮𝐱𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞. It can interpret and verify data, simplify complexity, and generate clarity, but 𝐢𝐭 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲."  

𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: "Independence is built and has to be built in the very architecture. We defend our independence through autonomy—𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 sustained by clear rules, transparent procedures, and a culture that protects judgment from external pressure."

𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 & 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: "The mindset must shift from cooperation as an event to 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞—the structure and architecture of cooperation. We have not to work with the episode, but with the method." 

𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬: "In a world dominated by speed, automation, and digital noise, 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩—a way to transform complexity into meaning, and this meaning into action." 

𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲: "I hope our legacy will be the culture we tried to build—a culture of collaboration and openness, 𝐚 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥, a culture where prevention is seen as a progress, oversight as a guidance, and integrity as a collective responsibility, not an institutional burden."
