The Australian Public Sector Anti-Corruption Conference 2026 (APSACC)
In September 2026, the Australia’s National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) will host APSACC 2026, in Canberra, Australia. With the theme ‘A strategic approach to integrity – culture, systems and accountability’, APSACC 2026 will provide anti-corruption agencies, academics and practitioners from the public and private sectors the opportunity to share their knowledge, experience and expertise. Sessions will include panel-style discussions on topics such as AI and automated decision-making, whistleblower protection, ethical decision-making and conflict of interest.
A Resounding Success for Global Anti-Corruption Collaboration
In a powerful demonstration of international partnership, the landmark IAACA events were successfully held in Doha, Qatar. The events were co-organized by the IAACA, the Independent Commission Against Corruption, Hong Kong, China (ICAC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) of Qatar.

IAACA Collaborates with the Association of African Anti-Corruption Authorities
Mr. C K Cheung, the Secretary-General, virtually attended the 7th Annual General Meeting of the Association of African Anti-Corruption Authorities on 22 July 2025 in Algiers, Algeria. During the meeting, Mr. Cheung presented IAACA’s ongoing initiatives to support our members in preventing and combating corruption. He also reflected on the notable progress achieved since the adoption of the Hong Kong Declaration one year ago.

From 20 to 23 May 2025, Mr C K Cheung, Secretary-General of IAACA and Assistant Director of ICAC, Hong Kong, China, participated in the Plenary Meeting of the UNODC’s Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network) in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The First IAACA Executive Committee Meeting of 2025
The first IAACA Executive Committee (ExCo) Meeting of 2025 was smoothly held online on 15 May 2025! During the session, ExCo members showcased their key achievements under the Hong Kong Declaration on Strengthening International Cooperation in Preventing and Fighting Corruption, in particular in the areas of international collaboration, capacity building, public engagement and research and development. Strengthening Global Anti-Corruption Efforts: Hong Kong Shares Strategies with Sri Lanka and Zambia
Two IAACA members—Sri Lanka’s Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and Zambia’s Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)—recently completed a five-day study programme at the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong, China.
